Soundwave May Undergo Major Changes In 2015

Changes to scheduling could be on the cards

Soundwave Festival promoter AJ Maddah has hinted that the event could undergo some major changes next year, including kicking off the festival in Adelaide to avoid clashes with other events.

The promoter posted the following Tweets today on possible changes:

1/2: SUPER IMPORTANT: #SW15 We are currently exploring the option of moving SW cities & maybe starting in Adelaide so as to avoid Clipsal

The first band for Soundwave 2015 also appeared to be confirmed this week in the form of Melbourne metal outfit Ne Obliviscaris.

One of Maddah's other festivals, the Warped Tour is in doubt to return again later this year though, with the promoter tweeting recently that it was looking unlikely it would be back.
