Australia's national music export office has big plans for 2019!
Turning 10 this past weekend, Australia's national music export office, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA, has big plans for 2019.
To celebrate the milestone and the accompanying 220 showcases they've delivered across the globe, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA has promised a number of exciting event announcements in the coming weeks.
They’ve already confirmed their SXSW Australia House showcase will return to Austin in March, bringing with it some of the country’s best film, music, food and wine.
They’ll also return to the UK in May for The Great Escape and Germany in September for Reeperbahn Festival.
“Presenting under a national umbrella for the past decade have guaranteed a stronger sum of its parts presence from Australia in the global music marketplace,” Executive Producer Millie Millgate said.
“This collaborative model has unquestionably ensured the growth and success of the export initiative and it’s the myriad partners involved that should be acknowledged during this milestone celebration.”
