Sonic Masala Fest 2023 Line-up Revealed

Sonic Masala Fest, The Triffid’s annual special event co-hosted by 4ZZZ, will return on Saturday, 12 August.

In the lead-up to the annual festival, Sonic Masala will hold three “Road To Sonic Masala” monthly events starring acts from this year’s line-up with the first event set for Saturday, 27 May, the second on Saturday, 17 June, and the third on Saturday, 22 July. All events will be free.

The tenth edition of Sonic Masala includes bands that have appeared all throughout the event’s journey, as well as exciting up-and-coming acts.

Tickets range from $22 (for under-18s) up to $66, and that includes a merch bundle.

Each month, the Road To Sonic Masala gigs will take place in The Triffid’s Beer Garden to build excitement with curated line-ups, featuring the likes of Ben Ely’s Mungo Fungo Band, The Trams, Socket, Hot Magnets, Grace Pashley, Shugorei, Edith Thomas Furey, Spring Hill Walkers Club and Magic City Counterpoint.
