The second annual event returns to Brisbane in March
Following the success of 2014's inaugural event, Brisbane-based DIY label Sonic Masala is already making plans to follow up Sonic Masala Fest with a second iteration in March.
The sophomore line-up features local heavyhitters Screamfeeder at the fore, more than capably complemented by Queensland and interstate acts such as White Walls, Summer Flake, Ghost Notes, Dollar Bar, Unpeople and many more. As with last year's event, releases will be on sale at the fest, and, with 2014 seeing albums selling out from Roku Music and Tape/Off, we can expect a fairly ravenous response for the goods on offer this time around, too.
The second Sonic Masala Fest will take place once again at the Greenslopes Bowls Club, on Saturday, 14 March. The revelry kicks off from 11.30am, and tickets are only $15 until 1 February ($20 from then, so still pretty freaking reasonable).
