Something For Kate Announce 'Warm-Up' Melbourne Show

The Aussie veterans are trialling a (temporary) new line-up ahead of some high-profile appearances

More Something For Kate Something For Kate Profile

Renowned Aussie outfit Something For Kate have a couple of big appearances lined up in the near future and, with longtime bassist Stephanie Ashworth temporarily out of commission, fellow members Paul Dempsey and Clint Hyndman have conscripted a new face for the performances in the form of Dallas Crane member and Dempsey collaborator Patrick Bourke.

Joining freshly minted touring guitarist/keyboardist Adrian Stoyles (The Gin Club) in the SFK ranks, Bourke is being given a chance to iron out any nerves with a just-announced special 'warm-up' show at Howler, in Melbourne, on Wednesday, 4 March.

Tickets for the dress rehearsal, if you will, before the temporary line-up takes on Golden Plains festival and Twilight At Taronga will go on sale this Wednesday, 25 February, from midday via Something For Kate's website. The band will be supported on the evening by The Smith Street Band frontman Wil Wagner.
