Someone Synced 'Dinosaurs' With The Notorious B.I.G's 'Hypnotize'

And, yes, it is incredible

Those of you who grew up in the early 1990s (or those of you who were raising children who were) will probably already be familiar with Jim Henson's prehistoric puppet sitcom Dinosaurs, but it's been thrust into the contemporary spotlight once more after a video appeared online of footage from the show being mashed up with the audio from Notorious B.I.G's 1997 hit Hypnotize.

The clip, created by Thalmic Labs employee and "reformed filmmaker" Benjamin Roberts actually makes far more sense than you'd first think. In fact, the show wasn't just a kitschy after-school comedy (although it is a little bit that), reading instead like the mutant live-action love-child of The FlintstonesThe Simpsons and Captain Planet (with a bit of DeGrassi thrown in), often shedding its illusive shroud of family-friendly levity to tackle deeper issues, including civil rights, women's rights, body image, substance abuse, racism and the mass extinction of the dinosaurs — making it the perfect complementary footage for a hip-hop song.

We're not sure if the result is hilarious, genius, or both, but, either way, it's absolutely a way you should kill four minutes of your time today. Check it out below.
