Check out Sunday night's ratings.

Despite receiving critical acclaim, the premiere of the highly-anticipated Easybeats miniseries was toppled in the TV ratings last night by an interview with U2 frontman, Bono.

As TV Tonight reports, ABC's Friday On My Mind brought in a disappointing viewership of 468,000, behind the U2 interview on 60 Minutes which drew an audience of 622,000.

While the figures should by no means be considered a disaster, The Easybeats biopic's ratings were well behind other TV miniseries ratings based on Aussie music names, including INXS (1.974 million) Ian "Molly" Meldrum (1.79 million) and Peter Allen (1.33 million).

The second and final part of The Easybeats miniseries will air on ABC on 3 December. Part one can be watched now on iView.
