Sobie Is Launching Her Debut Album 'The Montreal Winter'

Two and half years in the making and Sobie's indie-pop/rock opus, The Montreal Winter, is ready for public consumption.

The debut LP captures the eight months that the drummer turned singer-songwriter lived in Montreal, couched in driving rhythms, modern blues and intricate melodies.

"I was there studying and each of the songs have a connection with the city or people," Sobie told The Music recently.

The Montreal Winter is being launched at LazyBones Lounge on Saturday 19 November with support from Lazy Byrd.
