More ABBA More ABBA

Having reunited in January this year to open a themed restaurant, the four original members of pop behemoth ABBA have once again taken the stage together to perform at a private party in Sweden.

The Stockholm party was in honour of fifty years to the day, 5 June 1966, that Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson met for the first time.

As Swedish news Expressen reports, Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad took to the stage to perform You & I dedicated to Ulvaeus and Andersson, but towards the end of the song the two men joined the performance.

Expressen report that Lyngstad described the night as "absolutely amazing" and bringing "a lot of emotions", while Andersson said it was "a great night".

The world-dominating band broke up in 1982 after both couples in the group divorced. As NME reports, Ulvaeus last year told media that following the split, they would never reunite again. "We took a break in '82, and it was meant to be a break," Ulvaeus said. "It's still a break and will remain so. You'll never see us onstage again."
