More Smash Mouth More Smash Mouth

The forthcoming tour from American pop-rock bandSmash Mouthhas been postponed this afternoon, just one week before it was set to begin.

Promoters Big Apachee announced the news in a short press release today, but were quick to confirm that they were already in the process of rescheduling the shows for the Californian band.

"Smash Mouth wish to apologise to all their fans for the disappointment but are glad to be able to return in 2013," today's statement read.

Smash Mouth enjoyed enormous success around the turn of the century with a large string of infectious hits like Walkin' On The Sun, Why Can't We Be Friends, Can't Get Enough Of You Baby and I'm A Believer. In September they releasedMagic, their first album in six years, so don't expect this one to be all nostaliga, all the time.
