Legendary stoner/doom metal trio Sleep have announced they will play two headline Australian shows this October, one in Sydney and one in Perth.
The band will be in the country as part of the ATP 'Release the Bats' festival in Melbourne on October 26 before heading to Sydney to play Manning Bar the next night. October 28 sees the iconic outfit play the Rosemount Hotel in Perth.
The band were originally known as Asbestosdeath before renaming themselves Sleep and debuting with album 'Volume One' in 1991. They went on to release several seminal works, including the 68-minute long epic "Dopesmoker".
