According to a recent press release, iconic thrash metallers Slayer are working on some new music.
While substantial information is not available, an excerpt in the press release suggests the band is preparing some new material.
“While still recovering from the devastating loss of [guitarist Jeff] Hanneman, [frontman Tom] Araya and [guitarist Kerry] King have begun to work on new material and hope to spend some time in the studio prior to this tour [Fall North American shows].”
