Queensland alternative upstarts Skies Collide have announced plans to enter the studio this May, with the band also releasing a new short film this week.

'I Had Wings Once...' (view below) is an amalgamation of the band's previous video clips for 'Hollow Heart', 'Walls' and 'Your Facade', with each track taken from the group's self-titled EP.

Accompanying the news, the locals have also confirmed they will enter Sydney's Electric Sun Studios, to record their debut full-length, this May.

"The next release is already shaping up to be a stretch of our personal boundaries. We'll be drawing greater influence from our heavier roots and attempting to create something that distinctly represents who we are as a band," guitarist Liam Woods states.
