Sister Jane Pull Out Of Single Tour

Band won't be replacing dates

Talented Sydney indie-psych outfit Sister Jane have pulled out dates intended to launch their new single Whole Wide World today.

The band were due to play Melbourne's Old bar Saturday 9 November and Sydney's Brighton Up Bar Saturday 16 November with Buried Feather and Psychlops Eyepatch but today have cancelled their inclusion.

“Sister Jane are sorry to announce that the whole wide world has conspired against us so that in unhappy circumstances we will not be playing our upcoming shows in Sydney and Melbourne on the Lost Weekends mini tour,” read a statement. “The tour will most assuredly be going ahead with Buried Feather and Psychlops Eyepatch at your service.”

The single is the first taste of their second album Frontier, which is due for release next year through Broken Stone/Remote Control.

Today a representative from the label told theMusic that they wouldn't be replacing the dates at this stage. No further reason was given for the cancellation.
