Hardcore band Llorona are in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons this week after their singer, Diego, allegedly dosed their bassist, Sixx, with estrogen as part of an elaborate scheme to get with Sixx’s fiancée. Diego has since been kicked out of the band.
The Nashville-based group shared the news on Instagram this week in a since-deleted post – they’ve also deactivated their social media presence. However, Consequence Of Sound and The PRP caught screenshots from the band’s account and shared the story.
Llorona accused their singer, Diego, of being obsessed with Sixx’s fiancée and putting together a plot in an attempt to steal her from his bandmate. The band wrote in a Notes app statement that Diego allegedly secretly dosed Sixx with estrogen so the bassist could then look more feminine.
Diego’s plan was to “swoop in” following allegedly dosing his bandmate because he would have looked “stronger and more manly in comparison”. Since the alleged incidents took place, Sixx has sought medical attention and has spent thousands of dollars on doctors’ bills.
The band also shared tests from Diego admitting his actions, with the singer reportedly writing: “I was really drunk and told sixx and his fiance that I was obsessed with her and had a deep hatred for sixx and gave sixx estrogen to get and edge up on him.”
“We have decided to part ways with our vocalist Diego due to admission of very disturbing and concerning behaviour towards one of our band members and their partner,” the band wrote in a statement.

The statement says that Diego admitted that he was obsessed with Sixx’s fiancée and was “attempting to sabotage the relationship by attempting to force a transition onto him for the last 5 months, in hopes that would give him the opportunity to ‘swoop in’ once he looked stronger and more manly in comparison. (Stupid cave man mindset that makes zero sense)”.
The band wouldn’t have known about the alleged tampering until “Diego had gotten way too intoxicated and ousted himself, and then stated an admission to all of this via text.” Llorona hinted at “many more disgusting details” but have left them out “for the sake of privacy and general censorship.”
Llorona alleged that Diego had easy access to estrogen “because of his gym practices”. Sixx will be seeing his endocrinologist in the coming months to find out if his estrogen levels remain incredibly high and if they can go back to normal over time.
Sixx ended the statement by writing, “What he did is disgusting and has had an immense negative effect on my life.” Some of those negative effects include physical changes such as “stomach ulcers, weight loss, and muscle fatigue that I will not get into, as well as notable mental changes.”
