Simple Plan Cancel Tonight's Sydney Gig

Frontman Pierre Bouvier is under doctor's orders not to perform, but the band will complete tonight's Q&A session.

More Simple Plan Simple Plan

Simple Plan have had to cancel their live performance in Sydney tonight at The Standard for the promotional Take 40 Live Lounge, presented by Debit MasterCard, series.

Frontman Pierre Bouvier is under doctor's orders not to perform due to an issue with his vocals. However the band will still be completing the Q&A as planned.

In a statement the band say, 'We're very sorry to all the fans who were coming to see us play tonight, we encourage ticket holders to still come down and hangout with Chuck, Jeff, David and Seb at the Standard, from 6.30pm. Again we are deeply sorry."

A select audience of 300 people were expected to brave Sydney's rain this evening for the intimate performance, the first in this year's Live Lounge series.

Ticket holders will get refunds and will recieve an email with details shortly. Until then they can follow the Debit MasterCard Priceless Music Facebook page for details.
