Estrada had the following to say about the new album and signing:

"We are excited to be working with Bridge Nine Records. A lot of blood went into the new record and it means a lot to us that they believe in what we are doing. This new record is much darker and heavier in different ways than everything we've done before and It's great to be working with people that understand the fact that we have no interest in doing the same thing twice."
