Sia To Perform Live On Aussie TV For First Time In Five Years This Month

Elusive, enigmatic expat pop songstress Sia will make her long-overdue return to Australian television this month when she drops into Channel Seven breakfast show Sunrise for a live performance on Tuesday, 21 April.

In the five years since Sia was last broadcast from Australia, to Australians, she has ascended to the loftiest heights of the global pop world, becoming an unstoppable force with the explosive success of last year's full-length, 1000 Forms Of Fear, and its equally acclaimed singles, Chandelier and Elastic Heart, the former of which has racked up almost 650 million views on YouTube.

Alongside piles of recognition being thrown in her general direction, including ARIA Awards (Album Of The Year, Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release and Best Video), J Awards (Best Video) and being named the APRA Songwriter Of The Year for a history-making third consecutive year — and despite her absence from our screens — Sia has been keeping her TV claws sharpened with high-profile performances on popular international programs such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show (twice), The Graham Norton Show, Late Night With Seth Meyers, Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Kimmel  Live! and this year's Grammy Awards ceremony.
