Australian singer-songwriter Sia was at the fifth annual Daytime Beauty Awards on Sunday (1 October), which was held at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. During her appearance, the Unstoppable singer revealed that she recently underwent a facelift.

Presenting the honorary award for Outstanding Achievement in Medicine to her “good friend”, plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei, Sia said (per Page Six), “I’m a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about shit.

“I got an amazing facelift from Dr. Talei. He is incredible, and he is doing so much good work – and not just for the pop stars of the world.”

Sia went on to say that whenever her friends bring up how nice she looks, she’s quick to bring up Dr. Talei. She explained, “I’m like, ‘Dr. Ben Talei, facelift – for, like, anything you could ever want.’ I love him. I can’t say enough good about him.”

Upon accepting his award, Dr. Talei sang his praises for Sia. He said, “I don’t know if you guys know how amazing Sia is as a person. We have a lot of common friends, and it’s always shocking how many keep saying, ‘I love her, I love her, I love her. She’s amazing.'”

Talei called the singer “a bright ray of sunshine” and commented that she recently made his nieces and nephews days after inviting them to her house for a big party.
