The Fans have demanded and Short Stack are here to deliver! After three SELL- OUT tours, including a sell-out December National Concert Tour playing their biggest venues to date; the overwhelming demand for tickets has prompted Short Stack to announce extra dates for Stack Is The New Black 2010 Tour & the boys will Rock Sydney with special concert performance at one of Australia’s, and the World’s, most iconic venues, SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE... what better way to close the Stack Is The New Black 2010 tour!

The extended tour also accedes to demand adding new shows, for the first time, in Canberra (ACT), Newcastle (NSW) and Nowra (NSW).

Stackmania is set to rock Australia in March and April performing all their hits from their #1 album Stack Is The New Black and their hit new single ‘Sweet December’

It’s been a massive year for Central Coast (NSW) boys Shaun Diviney (Vocals/Guitar), Andy Clemmensen (Bass/Vocals) and Bradie Webb (Drums/Keys).  A number one debut album on the verge of being certified gold status (for sales over 35,000 units), four hit singles, three headline tours, Best Music Video (IF awards 09) &  millions of plays on MySpace and YouTube for both their music and their fly-on-the-wall series Short Stack TV, it’s clear: Stack really is the new black.

In between HSC exams, winning the title of Channel [V]’s Oz Artist Of The Year in 2008, and gigs supporting the likes of Simple Plan, The Veronicas and Good Charlotte, work began on Stack Is The New Black which mashes elements from punk, glam and electro, and is winning over more fans by the day. Since their debut single Shimmy A Go Go, the band have released three further top 20 singles, Princess (which reached number 11 on the ARIA singles chart), Sway, Sway Baby! (number two) and the current hit, Sweet December.  The number one album, Stack Is The New Black, explores an even wider range of styles – with epic ballads sitting alongside their trademark electro-tinged rock anthems.

It’s a good thing the band enjoys being on stage – they’ll be spending a good part of 2010 touring the length and breadth of the country in an effort to reach every last one of their fans.

“We want to give a large majority of Australia a chance to have to see us live by the end of 2010.

Bradie says. “If you haven’t seen our show yet, you can expect loud music, energetic fun and most importantly, the band of the future.”
