Tickets for Canadian artist Shawn Mendes' debut Australian show only went on sale yesterday but after selling out in just minutes, the 17-year-old songwriter has announced an additional performance for his trip Down Under.

Already confirmed to perform at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on 1 November, Mendes will now perform again at the iconic venue the very next night. 

Fans are urged to get their tickets for the second performance now as no more shows will be added to the tour.
