Welcome back, Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D!

More Gorillaz More Gorillaz

Seven years on from their 2010 record, Plastic Beach, acclaimed virtual band Gorillaz are back with album number four, revealed as called Humanz today.

Due to be released on 28 April, band mastermind Damon Albarn has once again gathered a who's who of musical names to round out the album with their voices — Humanz will include Savages' Jehnny Beth, Danny Brown, De La Soul, Grace Jones, Pusha T, Vince Staples, Aussie actor Ben Mendelsohn narrating the interludes and two of house music's most revered names Peven Everett and Jamie Principle.

To tease hungry fans just that little bit more, Gorillaz have dropped an animated film titled Saturnz Barz (Spirit House), featuring four new tracks called Saturnz Batz, Ascension, Andromeda and We Got The Power.

Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D… welcome back.
