More Sepultura More Sepultura

Brazilian metal icons Sepultura are returning to Australia for a final run across the country in March 2026, today announcing their Celebrating Life Through Death tour.

Sepultura announced their disbandment in December and embarked on a tour, which included venue upgrades and sold-out shows across Latin America, Europe, and the US. Now, Australia gets to say goodbye to the band.

The tour begins at Perth’s Metro City on Friday, 20 March. It continues at Adelaide’s The Gov on Monday, 23 March, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Wednesday, 25 March, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Friday, 27 March, and concludes at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 29 March.

The tour is the final opportunity Australian fans will have to witness Sepultura live and Down Under. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Friday, 12 December, at 9 am local time ahead of the general sale on Monday, 15 December, at 9 am local time. You can find tickets via the Destroy All Lines website.

In addition to their impending disbandment, the tour also marks Sepultura’s 40th anniversary. Their Australian shows will explore their catalogue, and, throughout their World Tour, Sepultura have embarked on a plan to record 40 live tracks from 40 cities, culminating in an epic collection of the band’s best live moments.

Throughout their career, Sepultura amassed 14 Gold records and played in 80 countries. One of the most influential metal bands of their generation, across 15 albums, they sold over 20 million records worldwide, which earned Gold and Platinum status in Australia and beyond. Their landmark record, Roots, has over 150 million streams on Spotify alone.

Reflecting on the 40th anniversary milestone and their incredible career, the band say: “We’ve always had the best fans in the world, who supported us with praise and criticism, who were demanding and intelligent, who grew together with the band and have always been loyal.

“Without you, none of this would have been possible. This album and this tour are for you. Dear SepulNation, we love you and always will.”
