Seja Previews New Single & Announces East Coast Dates

Her second LP will be released in June.

More Seja Seja

Seja Vogel, of much loved Brisbane synth-punk outfits Regurgitator and Sekiden fame, has premiered a new single from her forthcoming second solo album All Our Wires, which is due for release Friday 21 June.

The track, Like Fireflies, features Regurgitator bassist Ben Ely and will be officially released on Friday 24 May, but you can listen to it here right now.

The German-born chanteuse describes the song's inspiration as, “being madly in love with someone and going through the motions of wooing them, being shy in the courting processes, shouting it off the rooftops, to togetherness, to compromise, to supporting one another in crisis and all the other great things that happen in a relationship with a solid foundation.” Whatever it's about, it reinforces the dreamy pop Seja has become synonymous with.

To coincide with the single's release, Seja is hitting the road with shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne; entry to each show will be $10 on the door.
