2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Screamfeeder’s landmark fifth album, Rocks On The Soul, and to celebrate the milestone, the beloved Aussie rockers are going on tour and issuing the album on double vinyl.
Touring throughout New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria this October and November, the fun begins at La La La’s in Wollongong on Friday, 17 October.
That gig is followed by shows at Waywards, Newtown, on Saturday, 18 October, Byron Bay’s Great Northern on Friday, 24 October, celebrating the 50th anniversary of 4ZZZ at Roma Street Parklands, Brisbane, on Saturday, 25 October, and wrapping up at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Saturday, 1 November.
For the tour, Screamfeeder will be joined by special guests Raised By Wolves, The Smith Street Band, Catholic Guilt, and others, while they join the likes of Regurgitator, The Saints 73-78, Tropical Fuck Storm, Party Dozen, Full Flower Moon Band, and more for the 50th anniversary celebrations of 4ZZZ.
Tickets to the tour are available via the band’s website.
In addition to the tour, fans can now pre-order Rocks On The Soul on double coke-bottle-green transparent vinyl, and all 18 songs from the original CD release. The album re-release arrives in October, with discount prices available from today, as well as new merchandise. Pre-order your copy here.

Rocks On The Soul marks both an outlier and highlight of Screamfeeder’s discography, offering a sonic departure from previous works and continually showcasing the band’s independent ethos. They celebrate the album during a busy year that includes a full-length documentary and a book about their 1996 album Kitten Licks.
Screamfeeder’s Tim Steward said of the anniversary, “Hearing the record now, it’s aged far less than some of our others from the ‘90s. There aren’t too many cringe moments, and almost all the songs make us go ‘We should play this one again!’
“We’re really happy to have it out in a double vinyl format, giving all the songs space to breathe, and including the bonus CD that came with the original release, with the Hi Cs and Triple Hook singles and B-sides included.”
Ian Rogers added, “At the time, it sounded like it was too good for a band from Brisbane, which is never true — of anywhere — but that’s how Screamfeeder made me feel. I was excited by it. It was probably the last time I felt truly shocked by what a Brisbane band was capable of. Now everyone knows.”
