Sarah Blasko Teams Up With Orchestras For National Tour

16 October 2012 | 12:25 pm | Dan Condon

Some of the country's finest musicians will help the artist bring her new LP I Awake to life.

More Sarah Blasko More Sarah Blasko

It has come time for Sarah Blasko to announce the full album launch tour for her already critically adored latest release I Awake and she's not mucking around when it comes to making sure these songs are fleshed out in the most luscious way possible.

Instead of just hitting the road with a band in tow, Blasko and co will hook up with orchestras in each capital city they visit, filling the gorgeous spaces they will inhabit on this tour with opulent arrangements of Blasko's latest material, as well as plenty of her past material that we know and love so well.

Six shows have been announced for February next year; we recommend getting tickets quickly when they go on sale on Friday 26 October as this magical experience is bound to be one that many people across the country are going to want to be a part of. The record that she tour on the back of will be in stores on that very same day, but you can pre-order it now from her website.

Catch Blasko and her new friends at the following shows:
