Singer-songwriter Sara Watkins will release her second solo effort Sun Midnight Sun this May. The album will also feature the vocally seductive Fiona Apple and folk-rock performer Jackson Browne. Watkins has spent the past three years guest touring and working on her sophomore album. The singer, known also for her exquisite fiddle playing, first came to prominence in the Grammy award-winning trio Nickel Creek. Sun Midnight Sun is available from Friday 25 May.
