SantigoldPhildelphia-based singer and producer Santigold has dropped a pair of Splendour In The Grass sideshows this morning, hot off the announce that she'd be gracing the sold-out festival this year with her latest offering, 99 Cents.
In what will be Santi White's first voyage down under in over four years, the artist will bring the aptly titled 'We Buy Gold' tour to two intimate club shows on the east coast — first, Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on Wednesday, 20 July, followed by Sydney's Metro Theatre on Friday, 22 July.
Having worked with the likes of Mark Ronson, N.E.R.D. and The Strokes' Julian Casablancas over the years, White is known for her eclectic, adventurous live shows and politicised lyrics — particular in her latest record, which delves into society's throwaway nature and commodification.
Presented by Live Nation, Santigold's Splendour In The Grass sideshows will go on sale at midday on Thursday, 28 April, though Telstra customers can have an early swipe at tickets from 10am, Tuesday, 26 April.
