Sando Update: Gigs Until December

Now under the bank's control, the cash-strapped will have gigs for most of the year.

Renowned and long-standing Sydney live music venue The Sandringham Hotelconfirmed that it was in receivership earlier this week, throwing doubt over the future of gigs at the staple venue.

Today theMusic.com.au can confirm that the bank have guaranteed the hotel's operations for three months from today,  essentially through to September.

At the end of the three months accounting firm Ferrier Hodgson, who are overseeing the receivership, will asses the venue's assets and possibly re-list it for sale.

Despite this, the venue are still booking gigs until December and are confident that they will go ahead. No plans have been formulated beyond December.
