Sydney-based pianist, Sally Whitwell, has today released her highly anticipated second album, The Good, The Bad And The Awkward. This follows her ARIA Award winning debut, Mad Rush, and this time around we see Whitwell paying tribute to the cinematic characters to which she has found herself most attracted - the "incredibly imperfect, beautifully blemished and fabulously flawed". The 'cast list' honoured includes Anne Frank, Betty Blue, Virginia Wolf, Ada (from The Piano), Amelie and many more. The Good, The Bad And The Awkward is out now via ABC Classics.
