The US-bred hip-hop luminary will play four shows this December
Rhode Island-bred hip-hop veteran and spoken-word poet Sage Francis has revealed that he will be touching down in Australia this December for a four-date tour of the country, proudly presented by theMusic.com.au.
The tour will see Francis touch down for a show at Melbourne's Corner Hotel on December 4, before heading to Sydney's Roller Den, Adelaide's Uni Bar, and The Brightside, in Brisbane, on his way through the nation.
The erudite rhymesmith is hitting the road in support of his recently released fifth studio full-length, Copper Gone. The album is his first release following a four-year hiatus, and his current world tour in support of it — which takes him on a comprehensive 37-show jaunt through the UK and Europe — is fittingly sized to celebrate his return to active duty.
Despite the time between drinks, Copper Gone was broadly acclaimed upon its release in June this year, netting high praise from fans and critics alike for its undeniable sense of evolution while retaining the familiar hallmarks for which Francis has become renowned.
