Barcelona's largest music festival hosting our very own!
A slew of Australian bands, including Safia, Holy Holy and Millions, have been added to Primavera Sound Festival, Barcelona's premier music festival, as part of their Primavera Pro industry showcase.
In addition to Safia, Holy Holy and Millions, Flyying Colours, KLO and Sun God Replica will join bands like Twerps, Chet Faker, The Church, Movement and Panama already announced for Primavera Sound.
The showcase, which is in its sixth year, will target music industry professionals and will run alongside the main festival shows, which will take place from 28 to 30 May.
Nearly 150 speakers will take to the stages of Primavera Pro, held between 27 and 29 May, hosting key industry figures such as Simon Raymonde (founder of the label Bella Union), Martin Elbourne (Glastonbury Festival programmer) and Barry Dickins (co-director of International Talent Booking).

An extremely exciting prospect for our bands, it allows leading European music industry executives a chance to lay their eyes and ears on what Down Under has to offer and how these bands might serve Europe in the future, as well as create strategies on landing in markets like Asia, Australia and Latin America.
Primavera Sound already packs a punch, with Alt-J, Brand New, The Black Keys, Interpol, Tyler, The Creator, Belle & Sebastian and a stack of others confirmed for the Spanish festival.
