It's rumoured the music will be their first album in over a decade.

Billboard have today revealed that legendary soul group Sade are making new music.

The band have been recording in Correns, France at Miraval Studios according to French producer and composer Damien Quintard who co-operates the studio with Brad Pitt. The studio is located on Chateau Miraval a vineyard in South France. The space has been used in legendary recording sessions including Pink Floyd's The Wall, The Cranberries' Bury The Hatchet, and The Cure's Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me to name a few.

“You could feel the love that she and the band had for this place,” Quintard told Billboard.  “And when we talked to musicians who came here previously, they all have this special connection with Miraval that can’t really be explained … It’s a dream come true to see this place activate again.”

Less than a year after the rebuild of the studio was announced the pair stated that recording was already underway with a rumoured Sade album in the works for the first time in over a decade.

The album will be a followup to Sade's 2010 record Soldier Of Love. The only recent music they've released has been two singles Flower Of The Universe and The Big Unknown written for the soundtracks of A Wrinkle In Time and Windows.
