Sabrina Carpenter, Drake Lead Music Categories On Tinder's 'Year In Swipe'

Like Spotify and Apple Music, Tinder is looking back on the year that was with its Year in Swipe.

With the most used emojis on users’ profiles, the most common first names, the most attractive users’ star signs, and more, plus top dating trends, TV shows, interests, and other themes rounded up, it’s no surprise that the Year in Swipe also discusses music.

The Top Celebrities category features the likes of Margot Robbie and Robert Irwin, but, more than anything, the celebs who have dominated conversations on Tinder this year have been musical acts.

From Taylor Swift to Fred again.., users were keen on discussing Drake, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, and Dua Lipa. And a bunch of said artists – and others – appear in the Top Spotify Artists and Top Spotify Songs categories.

The Top Spotify Artists for Australian Tinder users in 2025 spanned a bunch of categories, including hip-hop, pop, country, indie, alt-metal, and K-pop. Yep, Sleep Token at #7 share the category with Drake (#1), Sabrina Carpenter (#2), Kendrick Lamar (#3), and KPop Demon Hunters (#8).

Artists in the category, including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Alex Warren, KPop Demon Hunters, sombr, and Playboi Carti made the Top Spotify Songs group. You can see the lists for Top Spotify Artists, Top Spotify Songs, and Top Celebrities below.
