This December, Oscar-winning actor and musician Russell Crowe will bring his musical event, the Indoor Garden Party, to Sydney for a one-night-only show.
Taking place at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 20 September, the intimate concert – marking his only show of 2025 – will see Crowe joined by special guests BRAKE, Marcia Hines, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lorraine O’Reilly, and Danielle Spencer.
Dropping hints about the event, Crowe said fans can expect “Stories, songs, and surprises,” which will be delivered through an eclectic mix of rock, blues, country, and gospel, featuring original songs, covers, and collaborations.
Tickets are now available via Ticketek.
Of the one-off event, Crowe added: “I’m really looking forward to this concert. It has been a little frustrating having to put some music things aside for the day job as the year has gone on, but you won’t hear me complaining. In my profession, too much work is a bonus.
“For the band, this gig will be like a celebration. A heavy work year behind us, one big blowout to finish the year will be so much fun. It’ll be like the Christmas show you go to when you don’t really want to go to a Christmas show. It’s not official, but I’m pretty sure we will have a ‘no reindeer’ policy on the night.”

Russell Crowe introduced the Indoor Garden Party in 2009, hosting an event in a tent outside a London pub owned by beloved talk show host Michael Parkinson.
The project follows the actor’s decades-long journey in music, comprising two albums: The Musical, released in 2017, and Prose and Cons, released in 2024. Live, the spectacle has featured everywhere, from Glastonbury to The Whisky a Go-Go in Los Angeles to the Colosseum in Rome.
Last year, Crowe took the Indoor Garden Party across six countries and 60,000 kilometres. While more plans were scheduled for this year, his day job took precedence, having completed six feature films in twelve months by the time his Sydney show rolls around.
The films include Nuremberg (also starring Rami Malek and Michael Shannon), set for release this November; Beast In Me—featuring Amy Shark in her film debut; Bear Country; Billion Dollar Spy; UNABOMB; The Weight; and the remake of Highlander, which will feature The Witcher star Henry Cavill.
