Australia's love affair with Pink continues with her new album The Truth About Love already three times platinum in its second week at the top. That's over 210,000 copies shipped for those playing at home. This week it held off Mumford & Sons' Babel, which debuted at two with gold accreditation – 35,000 copies. Green Day's Uno! Landed three.
The Rubens held on to ninth – and the top local ranking – with their self-titled in a busy week of releases, behind Kanye West Presents G.O.O.D Music Cruel Summer (seven) and No Doubt's Push And Shove (eight). Deadmau5's > album title goes here < debuted at 11. Obese-signed Melbourne rapper Illy debuted at 15 with Bring It Back.
The Mumford & Sons album was strong in the iTunes charts all last week and as a result it holds the top spot on the Digital Album Charts. TZU's Millions Of Moments also made an impact in the digital chart, by debuting at 42.
There was a change in the ARIA Singles Chart ranking, with viral YouTube hit Psy's Gangnam Style taking the top spot from local Guy Sebastian's Battle Scars with Lupe Fiasco. Birdy's Skinny Love cover rounds out the top three there.
