The Melburnian electro whiz dropped 'Aurora' last week
Acclaimed Victorian electronic-folk chanteuse Rose Wintergreen has announced that she is to embark on a three-date tour in support of her recently released mini-album, Aurora, this month and next.
The award-winning songstress has already seen significant praise for her new release (stream it here), with lead single Feet In The Sand making its debut at #5 on triple j’s Unearthed electronic chart and consequently has enjoyed airtime on triple j, Radio National and several community stations, as well as netting more than 25,000 plays on SoundCloud.
She’s now taking the sublime compositions on the road for a handful of dates along the east coast, starting with the Treehouse On Belongil, in Byron Bay, next Saturday, September 13, stopping by Brisbane’s Southside Tea Room on September 21, and wrapping up back at home at the Toff In Town, Melbourne, on October 5.

Taking into account prior comparisons to the likes of Little Dragon, Massive Attack and Sarah Blasko, and her win in 2013 at the Australian Independent Music Awards as (Electronic) Artist Of The Year – not to mention her certification as a finalist for the Vanda & Young Songwriting Award – it’s easy to see that Wintergreen is a very special talent on several levels, and one you’d be well served to get acquainted with sooner rather than later.
