Rolf Harris Found Guilty On 12 Charges Of Indecent Assault

Legendary Australian singer and entertainer Rolf Harris has been found guilty on 12 charges of indecently assaulting four young girls by a London jury.

The jury delivered their verdict just before midnight Australian east coast time yesterday and Harris – released on bail – will be sentenced Friday UK time. He faces up to ten years in jail.

The 84-year-old was found guilty on all charges, which related to incidents between 1968 and 1986. The youngest victim is said to have been between seven and eight years old.

UK media report that Harris showed no reaction in court as the verdict was delivered.
