Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame Announces New Performers

From Usher to Carole King.

In what is to be the 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, award recipients and live acts have been named for this year's event.

Four inductees – Heart, Randy Newman, Public Enemy and Rush – have been confirmed to be performing on April 18 in Los Angeles. Also being honoured at the event are Albert King, Donna Summer, Lou Adler and Quincy Jones.

The annual event will also include stars of the industry such as:

Usher – Performing for Quincy Jones
Spike Lee and Harry Belafonte – Performing for Public Enemy
Carole King – Performing for Lou Adler
Cheech and Chong presenting Lou Adler with his award
John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr.  – Performing for Albert King
Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell – Performing with Heart
Chris Cornell inducting Heart
Jackson Browne and John Fogerty – Performing with Randy Newman
Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson – Performing in honour of Donna Summer
Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins presenting Rush with their award
