63 to 30 defeat!
With a Nirvana-themed set of events this year, Reclink Community Cup once again took over Melbourne this weekend with another win going to muso team Rockdogs this year with a score of 10.3.63 to Megahertz' 4.6.30.
It's Rockdogs' fourth win since 2009, not including ties with Megahertz in 2012 and 2013.
At the heart of the game was of course the theme of #smellsliketeamspirit, a time for musos and radio and media professionals to get together for some healthy rivalry and to raise money for disadvantaged Australians who may benefit from sporting or art opportunities.
The game was topped off with sets from Regurgitator, Total Giovanni, The Sugarcanes and even Waleed Aly, who took to the stage to shred Prince's Prince Rain with Regurgitator and Dan Sultan at his side.
