Swedish dance artist Robyn has pulled out of her Australian tour with collaborators Röyksopp, a day after tickets failed to go on sale for their headline shows.

"Regrettably, due to a personal family matter, Robyn will no longer be joining Röyksopp on their Australian tour this summer, including all dates at The Falls Music & Arts Festival," a statement released today read.

Röyksopp will still be venturing to our shores to perform at all scheduled shows, while festival organisers are working on updates to their line-ups as a result of the cancellation.

The singer was also due to perform at Falls' sister event Southbound.
