Robert Ellis charmed so many people when he was out here in support of his buddy Justin Townes Earle a few months ago, so it makes perfect sense that he return to Australia to say another hello to his new friends.
Listen to his voice, seriously.
As tends to happen with these guys, he's bringing another fresh face to Australian shores in co-headliner Cory Chisel, who is fresh from a tour in support of Norah Jones and is said to be something of an old soul.
Between them these guys have a huge swag of amazing country and blues songs that might sound as if they're from a different era somewhat, but have a real modern edge to them, thanks to these two gentlemen's youthfulness.
Also getting on board for these shows is Marlon Williams, a 22 year old New Zealander who has just moved to Melbourne and is picking up gigs left, right and centre.
All three guys will provide music with great substance at shows that will be great fun. Details are in theGuide below.
