Go Inside Ricochet's Powerful & Inspiring Hip Hop Songwriting Camp

"This warms my soul."

The strong community surrounding Australia’s hip hop scene was evident more than ever last week during Ricochet’s latest songwriting camp, with 20 female and non-binary rappers, producers and vocalists taking part in the KLP initiative at Studios 301.

Co-organiser Sally Coleman (triple j/Coda Conduct/Elefant Traks) gave The Music a sneak peek at the impact the Ricochet Hip Hop Camp had via a WhatsApp-style roundtable with P-UniQue, Mirrah, Coda Conduct, Thandi Phoenix, imbi the girl and Coda Conduct bandmate Erica Mallett.
