Richard MarxGrammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Richard Marx is currently in Australia to film The Voice, but in April, he’s set to tour across the country once more.
Marx is touring in support of his new album, After Hours. On the album, he reimagines the Great American Songbook, which he recorded live with a 24-piece orchestra. Featuring the singer’s original compositions as well as classic standards, Marx performed them in complete takes—just like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
With the record featuring collaborators Rod Stewart, Kenny G, and Chris Botti, Marx has unveiled a bold new direction with fans—one that Australian fans will experience in less than two months.
Richard Marx’s After Hours tour begins at Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall on Thursday, 16 April. It continues at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Sunday, 19 April, the Canberra Royal Theatre on Monday, 20 April, Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Wednesday, 22 April, and concludes at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Friday, 24 April.
Tickets are available now via the TEG Van Edmond website.

“I can’t wait to get back to Australia,” the Right Here Waiting singer said. “The audiences there have always been so warm and passionate. It’s going to be an unforgettable run of shows.”
In addition to his successful music career, Marx is a coach on The Voice Australia alongside Melanie C, Ronan Keating, and Australian singer Kate Miller-Heidke. He made his debut on the ongoing reality series last year and returns to this year’s season.
A frequent visitor to our shores, Marx returns to Australia following a tour in 2023 and a handful of shows in 2024.
