Australian punk and hardcore webzine Rest Assured have announced the formation of Rest Assured Records, along with what is set to be the label's first two releases.
First up is the debut 7" from Sydney hardcore band Boneless, which features former members of Bad Blood, and is said to be a record of traditional short, fast, loud hardcore in the vein of Sick Of It All and Last Nerve. The record will be released in January, with pre-orders set to be launched online soon, and one of the songs, "Hypocrites", can be heard below.
The second release on the label will be the debut LP from Newcastle's Hazards, the band that features former Pitfall, Arms Reach, The Dead Walk and Life.Love.Regret vocalist Luke Dolan. The LP harks back to the 80′s & 90′s era of melodic, guitar-driven, punk rock influenced by the likes of Husker Du, The Wipers, Pegboy, Embrace and Dag Nasty.
