There's been a LOT of movement.

Renowned label Remote Control Records are set for a big restructure following the departure of Promotions & Marketing Manager, Lorrae McKenna.

Having worked at the label for the past three years, McKenna is moving on to concentrate on her own management company.

Effective immediately, Sweetie Zamora will step into the Head Of Labels & Promotion position and will serve as the key contact for Remote Control's labels, artists and managers.

"Sweetie will devise and drive strategies for all Remote Control releases, overseeing one cohesive plan, integrating  publicity, marketing, physical sales and the digital platforms," a statement released by Remote Control reads.

"Sweetie has played a major role in the success of many of Remote Control’s gold and platinum selling records since joining the company nearly five years ago and is well placed to take on this much broader and influential role."

Meanwhile, Vanja Bezbradica will take on the title of Digital Accounts Manager and Georgia Cooke is now the Melbourne-based Promotions Lead having worked for the company as Publicity Coordinator for over two years.

Jill Stewart is also taking on a new gig, moving into the Production & Licensing Manager position with an expanded role in synch and third party licensing in Australia and through Remote Control's partnership with the Beggars Group licensing team in the UK and USA.

Finally, having worked with the company for the most part of 2016, Darren Lesaguis now takes on a full time role as the Sydney-based Promotions Coordinator and is the key point of contact for all media.
