Relapse Records has officially announced plans to release a new full-length from death metal outfit Father Befouled. Titled "Morbid Destitution of Covenant," the album was recorded in May at Elektro Sound in Cooper, TX. A September 14th release is planned.
Father Befouled has issued the following:
"It goes without saying, given the sound we craft, we could be none more honored to be part of the Relapse roster, and firmly rooted in the history of American death metal. Without the existence of Relapse there quite simply would not be a Father Befouled, and more importantly there would not be so many bands that the label spawned.
We feel extremely confident in our decision to work with one of the labels that helped this sound ooze from the primordial."
