Regurgitator Announce 'Units' Australian Tour

Regurgitator thrilled fans in Brisbane when they recently announced a Units celebration gig at Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Outdoors & Ballroom. Now, punters across the rest of Australia will have the opportunity to honour that seminal LP this May.

Travelling through Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, and Perth, Regurgitator announce the UNITS - 25 YEARS OF UNIT IN ONE ELECTRIC STREAM OF SOUND AND COLOUR tour. The band will perform their iconic 1997 album in full, in all its pixelated density, along with an extended set of hits.

Joining the beloved act for the ride are DZ Deathrays, Custard (not appearing in Hobart), Butterfingers, and Glitoris.

Last month, Regurgitator announced UNITS, a hometown carnival of music curated by the band in honour of their iconic 1997 album, Unit, at Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Outdoors & Ballroom. Their mates DZ Deathrays, Models, Screamfeeder, Cable Ties and more will be performing on Saturday, 25 March.

Unit was recorded in an abandoned Fortitude Valley warehouse as demolishers waited outside. 

The band's second album debuted at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart, is certified triple Platinum in Australia and won a total of five categories at the 1998 ARIA awards, including Best Alternative Album. 

The album contains their hit singles, ! (The Song Formerly Known As), Everyday Formula, Polyester Girl and Black Bugs, all of which made the Triple J Hottest 100 in 1998 at #6, #10, #26 and #32, respectively. In addition, their top streamed track, ! (The Song Formerly Known As) was nominated for the 1998 ARIA Award for Single Of The Year and Best Video.
