Exciting news for fans of Russian-American anti-folk superstar Regina Spektor has come through this morning, with word of an Australian tour leaked by the artist herself.
In a Facebook post, Spektor announced to her followers that she would be heading down to Australia and New Zealand this December, with venue details and ticketing information to be announced very soon.
The post read as follows.
"Hi everyone!!!! I'm very excited to announce that I will be coming back to New Zealand and Australia in December!!! UPDATE: Tour dates have been announced. She'll be supported by Only Son on the dates which will go on sale 9am Thursday 26 July. Frontier pre-sales go on sale 3pm AEST Thursday 19 July for 24 hours.
