Five special shows throughout December

With over 250 titles under their belt, Melbourne indie label Rubber Records have announced a series of special one-off shows throughout December to celebrate their 25th anniversary, with 1200 Techniques reforming and local legends UndergroundLOVERS among others joining the party.

Founder David Vodicka has come a long way from the label that began in his bedroom in ’89, so it’s no surprise a slew of quality acts have joined on for five shows in Melbourne spread across two venues in December.

Beginning with a three-week residency at Northcote Social Club, The Casanovas are coming out of the woodwork to preview new material and play Wednesday 3 December with pop punk staples The Affected.

Melbourne’s bZARK are reforming for one show only at Northcote Social Club on Wednesday 10 December with rock outfit Low Fly Incline, and Cordrazine play an intimate acoustic gig with The Genes at the same venue on Wednesday 17 December to round out the residency.
